R. Scott Tann
R. Scott Tann is the President and owner of Phocas LLC based in Sugar Land, TX. He has worked in the chemical space for over 35 years for organizations including: Witco, ExxonMobil and most recently Huntsman. Scott also has worked as the in-house lead Project Manager with many leading consultants including: Market Edge, McKinsey & Co, Deloitte, PRTM and Price Waterhouse and Cooper. He has served as Chairman of the Board for a Chemical Trade Organization, is a recognized Fellow of ASTM International and Chaired many Scientific and Marketing Symposia and/or Meetings. Scott has extensive experience in Strategic Planning, Innovation and Ideation processes as well as Sales and Marketing of specialty and commodity chemicals.
